There are two key Government websites that provide information specifically for employers on the benefits of training and how to arrange it.

gives a comprehensive overview of the benefits of training. It includes
information on apprenticeships/traineeships and training organisations, as
well as a handy calculator that estimates the potential return on your
training investment.

details how training an apprentice/trainee works, the benefits for your
business, and where to get more information.
- Supervision is a key element of the training contract* between an employer and apprentice/trainee and is extremely important in enabling the apprentice/trainee to become competent in all areas of their workplace based training. VITABs represent industry through their networking capacity and influence Victoria's Vocational Education and Training ( VET) policy and resource allocation priorities, as well as assisting industry to utilise and participate in the VET system.
